These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Speed in China ("we," "us," or "our"), including the speedinchinaplugin.com website (the "Website") and the Speed in China WordPress plugin (the "Plugin"). Together, these are referred to as the "Service." The Plugin EULA and Refund Policy also apply to paid licenses.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Website or using the Plugin, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Speed in China is a WordPress plugin that tests and optimizes your website's performance for visitors in mainland China. The Service provides:
- Speed tests from servers in mainland China via the Globalping API (api.globalping.io)
- Google Font localization (automatic download and local hosting of Google Fonts)
- Resource analysis to identify assets blocked by the Great Firewall
- Scheduled automatic speed monitoring (paid plans)
3. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on the following third-party services:
- Globalping (globalping.io) — Provides the speed testing infrastructure with servers in mainland China. Subject to Globalping's own terms of service.
- Freemius (freemius.com) — Handles plugin licensing, checkout, subscription management, and optional usage telemetry. Subject to Freemius' terms and privacy policy.
- Google Analytics — May be used on the Website for traffic analysis. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services.
4. User Accounts & Licenses
Free use of the Plugin requires no account. Paid licenses are managed through Freemius and are subject to the EULA. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your license key.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Plugin
- Redistribute the premium version of the Plugin without authorization

The Plugin, Website, and all associated content are owned by Gaucho Plugins. The free version of the Plugin is licensed under the GPL v2+. Paid versions are subject to the Freemius EULA.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that speed tests will always be available, that results will be perfectly accurate, or that third-party services (including Globalping) will remain operational.
